Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that involves the transfer of universal life force energy through the hands of a trained practitioner to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. By channeling energy into the body, Reiki helps to balance the energy flow, reduce stress, relieve pain, and support the body's natural healing processes. Reiki sessions are typically performed in a calm, peaceful environment, where the recipient remains fully clothed while the practitioner gently places their hands on or near specific areas of the body. Many people seek Reiki for its ability to enhance relaxation, improve sleep, boost energy levels, and provide emotional relief from anxiety, depression, and trauma. This holistic healing practice is safe, non-invasive, and can be used alongside other medical or therapeutic treatments.

What To Expect For a Private Reiki Session
My reiki sessions are one on one sessions that focus on balancing energy and cleansing the aura!​​
These sessions can be held either in a studio or at your home - and will be conducted on my reiki table. I'll usually have light meditative music and (if you're okay with it) tealights and candles to create a nice little ambiance:)
Before the sesion starts, we'll have a chat so that I can walk you through the process and you can let me know if there's anything you'd like to focus on during the session.

We'll begin with a meditation that brings you into a relaxed state of mind. Then I'll call in the reiki energy to myself so that I can apply it to you.
​
You can choose between either light touch or no contact for these sessions.
​
The session will last about an hour - after which I'd recommend allowing yourself to sit with the energy for 10 to 15 minutes to allow yourself to feel the full effects of the session.

How To Prepare
Preparing for your reiki session can help you into a relaxed state beforehand. I'd recommend just a few things to do and bring!
What To Bring
For your own comfort, there are a few things I'd recommend bringing to a sound bath:

A pillow to rest your head

A blanket for warmth
Box Breathing
If you'd like to deepen the meditative experience, you can do a short breathing exercise before the session called box breathing.
