Sound Therapy
With Living Healed
My sound therapy (Sound Bath) sessions promote relaxation through stress and tension relief, and a rebalancing of the body and it's energy through the use of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, a thunder drum, a rain stick, and an ocean drum creating a deeply immersive experience designed to relax the mind and restore balance to the body and soul. The crystal singing bowls emit pure, resonant tones that harmonize the body's energy and systems, while the Tibetan bowls produce a rich, grounding vibration that encourages deep relaxation. The thunder drum's deep, rumbling sounds combined with the rain stick mimic the power of a storm, evoking a sense of awe and transformation, while the ocean drum's gentle, wave-like rhythms create a soothing, tranquil atmosphere. Together, these instruments work in harmony to induce a state of deep relaxation, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual healing and clarity.
Let those vibrations wash over you! :)

Your Personalized Escape into Sound Healing

Where Does the Magic Happen?
Right where you need it most. I currently bring the sound bath experience to your space—whether it’s your living room, corporate office, or a peaceful corner at my weekly session at the Sharron Balcom Recreation Center on Miniville Road in Dale City, VA. Think of it as wellness delivered, sans delivery fee.

Healing with Intention: Customized Sound Baths
Your sound bath can be tailored to your goals—whether you’re seeking stress relief, better sleep, or a creativity boost. I love crafting sessions around specific intentions, blending targeted sound frequencies with mindful intention-setting. Need a custom solution for something like Restless Leg Syndrome? I’ve even got a recorded sound bath for that!

The Vibe: Your Space Your Rules
I keep things simple and sensory-friendly. No incense to overwhelm your nose (unless you're into that!) and no pre-recorded music—just the pure resonance of carefully selected instruments. I’ll arrive with my trusty crystal bowls, metal bowls, gongs, rain stick, ocean drum, and thunder drum (and the occasional new addition, because I can’t resist a good sound tool). From there, the environment is entirely your call—whether you’re aiming for cozy zen or corporate calm.

Reading the Room, Adjusting the Tune
No two sessions are alike, and I adapt in real-time based on the energy of the space. Take the day after the 2024 presidential election, for example. I walked into a room full of anger and fatigue and decided on the spot to lead a chakra rebalance. The result? A calm, centered group ready to take on the world—or at least the rest of the week.

Is There a Sound Bath for That?
While I don’t operate on a one-size-fits-all approach, the possibilities are endless. Relaxation, meditation, physical healing—it’s all within the frequencies. Each session is as unique as the person (or group) experiencing it.

Your Essentials Checklist:
To fully melt into the experience, bring along these comforts:

-
A mat or blanket to stretch out on.
-
Another blanket to snuggle under.
-
A pillow for ultimate head-in-the-clouds vibes.
-
An eye mask for total sensory immersion.

What To Expect:
Every sound bath is a journey, and I’m your guide. Here’s how it unfolds:
-
Introduction: We’ll kick off with an explanation of the instruments and the why behind sound healing.
-
Meditation: A calming entry point to prepare your mind and body.
-
Sound Bath Bliss: 40 minutes of transformative sound therapy.
-
Recovery: Five minutes to recalibrate and re-enter the world.
Each session lasts about an hour—enough time to feel like you’ve been to another dimension without missing dinner.

Can I Bring Friends?
For group sessions, the more the merrier—as long as the venue accommodates. If you’re dreaming of a group reset, let’s chat about logistics.

Life Happens: Policies that You'll Appreciate
I get it; schedules can change. Payment is required at booking, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session. Refunds? Handled on a case-by-case basis, because sometimes life throws curveballs that need a little sound healing themselves.

-
Set-Up and Clean-Up: I only need about 15 minutes before and after the session.

What Should Participants Bring?
For maximum relaxation, I recommend everyone comes prepared with:
-
A mat or blanket to lie on.
-
A blanket for cozy vibes.
-
A pillow for comfort.
-
An eye mask to block distractions.
Encourage comfortable clothing so participants can fully melt into the experience—no fancy yoga pants required unless they want to show them off.

Inclusivity Is Key
Whether your participants are seasoned meditators or total beginners, I ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. My approach is adaptable, and I create an environment that’s as judgment-free as it is sound-filled.

Ready to Harmonize Your Group’s Energy?
Let’s create a tailored experience that leaves everyone feeling recharged, refreshed, and resonating at a higher frequency. Whether it’s a one-time event or part of a recurring wellness program, I’m here to help your organization thrive.
Remote Sound Baths at Living Healed
Transformative Healing from Anywhere

How Do Remote Sound Baths Work?
In our increasingly connected world, wellness doesn’t have to depend on proximity. Remote sound baths are delivered in two formats: live via a streaming platform like Zoom or as pre-recorded sessions sent directly to you. Whether you prefer the immediacy of a live session or the flexibility of pre-recorded content, we’ve got you covered.

Live or Pre-Recorded? Your Choice!
Both live and pre-recorded sessions offer unique benefits:
-
Live Sessions: Interact with me before and after the session to fine-tune your experience. (Emergencies only during the session, please—no casual mid-sound-bath chit-chat.)
-
Pre-Recorded: Access your sound bath anytime, anywhere, at your own pace.

What’s Included in a Remote Sound Bath?
Every session begins with a guided meditation to ease you into the experience. These meditations can be generalized for relaxation or tailored to address specific needs—like stress relief or clarity on a life challenge. From there, the sound bath unfolds, designed to meet your unique intentions and goals.

How Long Are Sessions?
Typically, sessions last about an hour, but they can be customized for shorter or longer durations to suit your schedule.

What Do You Need to Participate?
Here’s your checklist for maximum comfort and immersion:
-
A mat or blanket to lay on.
-
A second blanket to keep cozy.
-
A small pillow.
-
An eye mask for sensory deprivation.
-
Comfortable clothes—your pajamas are absolutely sound-bath-approved.
For optimal audio quality, I strongly recommend a good pair of headphones. While external speakers work, headphones allow for a more immersive experience.

High Quality Audio You Can Trust
I use professional gear for both recording and live streaming, including a Portacapture X8 for crystal-clear sound and a high-quality webcam for video. While I ensure top-notch delivery on my end, your experience will be enhanced with quality playback equipment—especially headphones.

Tech Compatability
Sessions are delivered in universally friendly formats like .mp4, making them accessible on most devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. If you can stream a YouTube video or join a Zoom call, you’re ready to go.

Setting The Stage For Relaxation
Your environment plays a huge role in your experience. Here are my top tips:
-
Lighting: Opt for soft, low lighting or candles.
-
Comfort: Arrange pillows, mats, and blankets for maximum coziness.
-
Minimize Distractions: Choose a quiet space, turn off notifications, and let your loved ones know you’re taking some “me” time.

Preparation is Key
Show up early to relax and start deep breathing before the session begins. Hydration is always important—drink water before and after to support your body’s natural detox process.

Tailored To Your Goals
Stress relief, better sleep, improved focus—your intentions shape the session. Let me know your goals ahead of time, and I’ll craft a sound bath to align with your needs, using targeted frequencies and focused intention.

Sharing the Experience
Remote sound baths are Zoom-friendly, meaning multiple people can join from one connection. Perfect for private group sessions, family bonding, or virtual wellness retreats.

Accessibility Note
At this time, sessions are not optimized for individuals with hearing impairments or other specific needs, but I’m committed to exploring solutions for future offerings.

Follow-Up Resources
For private sessions, I’ll provide a recording as part of the service, allowing you to revisit your sound bath anytime.

Remote vs. In Person: What's The Difference?
The results you experience depend more on your intention than on your location. Remote sound baths can be just as impactful as in-person ones, offering the same vibrational healing from the comfort of your own space.

Tuning Fork Therapy with Living Healed
When life feels out of tune, let’s bring you back to harmony—one vibration at a time.

Why Tuning Fork Therapy?
Ever feel like you’re running on an ancient, out-of-tune piano instead of a grand concert hall? Tuning forks help recalibrate your body’s systems with pure, focused vibrations. Think of it as pressing a “reset” button on your nervous system.
When tuning forks are applied near your ears or on your body, they stimulate the vagus nerve—the superstar nerve that touches almost everything inside you (except your spleen; it’s not invited to this party). This gentle vibration helps calm, rebalance, and bring a wave of relief through every inch of you.

What to Expect in a Session
-
Get Comfy: You’ll lie down or sit in a cozy chair. (Yes, you get to relax immediately.)
-
Set an Intention: We’ll chat about what brought you here. Whether it’s back pain, clearing old emotional baggage, or just needing a cosmic tune-up, we tailor the session to you.
-
The Magic Begins: I’ll use a combination of audible sounds (forks struck near your ears) and direct contact (forks placed on specific areas of your body). Each fork is chosen for its unique frequency and its specific ability to heal, rebalance, and soothe.

How Long Does it Last?
A standard session lasts about an hour, but we can adjust depending on your needs. Sometimes a little extra time is just what the body ordered.

Do You Need to Prep?
Honestly, not much. Just:
-
Set an intention: Believe the session will work for you.
-
Wear comfy clothes: No skinny jeans allowed.
-
Skip the heavy meals: You’ll want your body light and open, not in a post-burger coma.

Physical Contact—Yes or No?
Totally up to you. Tuning forks can be placed directly on areas that need attention, or we can work solely in your energy field. Your comfort is always the priority.

Mixing Modalities for Maximum Healing
Sometimes, tuning forks like a little company. Depending on what you need, we can blend in:
-
Aromatherapy: Scent-based serenity.
-
Breathwork: To melt stress away.
-
Guided Meditation: To quiet the mind’s chatter.
-
Reiki: For deep energy healing.
It’s a personalized recipe for your well-being.

The Space: Your Comfort Zone
Most sessions happen in the comfort of your own home. (Blankets, pets, and candles encouraged.) For corporate events or group sessions, the space is flexible. We’ll work with what you have to create a healing haven.

The Frequencies That Heal
I use weighted tuning forks tuned to the mystical Solfeggio frequencies. Each frequency is like a musical note for your healing journey:
-
174 Hz: Reduces pain and stress; anchors you in safety.
-
285 Hz: Repairs tissues and cells; think cosmic Band-Aid.
-
396 Hz: Releases guilt and fear; emotional freedom unlocked.
-
417 Hz: Clears trauma; sweeps away stagnant energy.
-
528 Hz: The “Love Frequency”; DNA repair and transformation.
-
639 Hz: Boosts harmony in relationships.
-
741 Hz: Detoxifies and awakens intuition.
-
852 Hz: Deepens spiritual connection and inner peace.
-
963 Hz: Enlightenment and universal wisdom.

The Fine Print: Cancellations & Costs
-
Cancellation Policy: Cancel up to 24 hours before your session. Rescheduling? Yes. Refunds? Nope.
-
Cost: $132 per hour. Sometimes I roll out special packages and seasonal discounts, so keep your eyes peeled!

One Session or Many?
Healing isn’t a one-hit wonder. While one session can bring temporary relief, multiple sessions help unravel deeper layers and maintain balance. Think of it like exercise: one run is great, but regular practice keeps you strong. Your body, mind, and soul deserve consistent care.

Post-Session Tips
-
Hydrate: Your body loves water, always.
-
Journal: Got emotions bubbling up? Writing helps process and release them.
-
Rest: Give yourself permission to relax. No emails. No rushing. Just be.

How To Prepare For A Sound Bath
Preparing for a sound bath beforehand can help deepen the experience in the moment! Don't worry too much, you don't have to study or do an intensive diet beforehand - in fact, it's just the opposite! It's all about relaxation, baby! :)
What To Bring
For your own comfort, there are a few things I'd recommend bringing to a sound bath:
-
A yoga mat or blanket to lay on
-
A small pillow or blanket to rest your head on
-
An eye mask to help avoid distractions
-
A blanket to cover yourself and get cosy
Box Breathing
If you'd like to deepen the meditative experience, you can do a short breathing exercise before the session called box breathing.
Breathe in and count to four
Hold and count to four
Breath our and count to four
Hold and count to four
Repeat
These are all recommendations, though! Some people show up empty handed and stressed after a long day - and they still get all the benefits of this incredible experience.

If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to get in touch, via the chat function on the website, or email me directly at Cory@living-healed.com.

I can't wait to see you :)
What To Expect From My Sound Bath Sessions
My sound therapy sessions are carefully created with love and intention :)
I start my sessions with a guided meditation to get you into a relaxed state of mind. It's in this state that people often tell me that they have spiritual experiences! This is because when your mind and body are relaxed, you're more attuned to subtle energy shifts both within your body and outside!

It's at this point that I'll begin to play my crystal sound bowls.
If you haven't been in a room with crystal sound bowls before, then you're in for a treat. You will literally FEEL the vibrations. I'm not joking.
It's these vibrations that move throughout your body and can cause intense physical, emotional, and spiritiual experiences.

I've had people tell me that they had visions as if they were dreaming during these sessions. Others have told me that they were overcome with emotions and found themselves tearing up.

This is the healing :)
