I am God. So are YOU!
I know. I know how that sounds.
And I don't give a shit.
Because the truth doesn't need permission.
I spent decades inside a tradition where that sentence was the closest thing to unforgivable that you could say.
Where the distance between the creator and the created was the whole architecture of the theology - because a man who believes he is separate from God, dependent on an outside authority for access to grace, is a man who needs the institution.
And then I started asking questions.
Where does the divine actually live?
Outside me, requiring ritual access?
Or inside me - breathing, creating, experiencing, expressing?
Fractals of God.
That is the metaphor that replaced the old theology for me.
Not separate from the source.
Not waiting for permission from it.
Expressions of it.
The creative intelligence of the universe in human form, with the same creative capacity - proportional, particular, absolutely real.
When that landed in my body - not my head, my body - the relief was unlike anything I had felt in over 50 years of organized religion.
Not because I found a new belief system.
Because the most foundational truth about who I am finally matched what I had always felt underneath all the doctrine.
I am God. And so are you.
And a man who knows that does not need anyone's permission to build the life that was always waiting for him.
